Audience feedback from final performance of pied piper

an analysis of pied piper

An analysis of “pied piper” Throughout unit 4 combined arts I have maintained a reflective and analytical review of my progress in developing and applying skills for a combined arts performance. The final assessed performance of our reimagined version of a “pied piper” took place on Monday 24thjanuary 2022 in the performance space at Suffolk one. I will now complete a SWOT analysis of my final performance. Strengths- Following the performance I received feedback from the audience members. The following comments are evidence of the strengths of the performance. The feedback given from the audience helped us as a performer to realize how the performance went as a whole as they gave us some information that we can now take into consideration during our next performance. We asked the audience some questions after the performance to see just how much they took in from our reimagined piece. The first question we asked was how clearly we communicated the theme story and mood...

Pied piper-group task towns people

Townspeople group performance- Whole class group performance-  What skills did I develop today ? MORNING- In today’s lesson we got placed in to groups and got given a stereotype from Mathew Bournes creation of the nutcracker.firstly as a class we watched some clips of Mathew Bourne work and how his actors and dances presented each of the groups of charecters,we could see from the videos how different  there personalities where for example the children were more over exaggerated and outgoing whereas the towns people where more professional and stubborn. All groups got given a prop, my groups prop was a broom head which at first we thought would be really difficult to dance with as we couldn’t picture many movements that could include and broom head but then when we started moving we realised that it was a lot easier then we thought and all we had to do was just imagine it was something completely different. We then got in to our group and listened to the piece of music that we ha...

Pied piper unit 4

In class we were told to get ourselves into pairs and create a duo sequence considering the following words- -fall -follow -escape -control  -around  -lead -repeat -control  -entrapment  We created this piece by firstly seeing which movements could represent theses words and then putting them in a sequence so that’s they could flow consistently.Ella and I made sure that we used plenty of fluid like movements and levels to portray how we both felt.I feel during the duo we used very risky movement pieces which considered trust,me and Ella decided to use a trust fall therefore I had to build up my trust in Ella in order for this movement to look fluent and effective. As a class we looked at some works of Pina Bausch so as a due we decided to use some of pina Bausch’s work to make our piece more effective. The work we explored was very animalistic which gave us ideas on how to behave and dance more like rats. I feel like I have developed my skills in used of facial ...
